چکیده

Abstract Background To review the settings and outcomes of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) interventions for breast cancer survivors, to explore feasibility prescribing exercise survivors. Methods A systematic search electronic databases was conducted studies published up May 31, 2020. Eligibility criteria included randomized controlled trials HIIT intervention in Studies were grouped by whether during or after treatment, methods reviewed within each group. Results Twenty-six identified, 13 satisfied inclusion criteria. Intervention treatment 8 studies, 5. duration ranged from 3 16 weeks, with 2 sessions per week, a total 9 36 sessions. All supervised; 12 lab-based, 1 community-based. One most promising improvement cardiorespiratory fitness HIIT. Conclusion This found that all on survivors investigated supervised interventions, but not home-based unsupervised. is time-efficient method increasing cardiovascular function further research necessary determine its effects other outcomes.

Does low volume high-intensity interval training elicit superior benefits to continuous low to moderate-intensity training in cancer survivors?

AIM To determine the impact of low volume high-intensity interval training (LVHIIT) and continuous low to moderate-intensity exercise training (CLMIT) on cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk and health outcomes in cancer survivors. METHODS Sedentary cancer survivors (n = 75, aged 51 ± 12 year) within 24 months of diagnosis, were randomised into three groups for 12 wk of LVHIIT (n = 25), CLMIT (n...

High-Intensity Interval Training in Heart Transplant Recipients: A Systematic Review with Meta-Analysis

Heart transplantation (HTx) is considered an efficient and gold-standard procedure for patients with end-stage heart failure. After surgery, patients have lower aerobic power (VO2max) and compensatory hemodynamic responses. The aim of the present study was to assess through a systematic review with meta-analysis whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can provide benefits for those para...

High-intensity interval training versus moderate-intensity continuous training within cardiac rehabilitation: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Background Aerobic capacity has been shown to be inversely proportionate to cardiovascular mortality and morbidity and there is growing evidence that high-intensity interval training (HIIT) appears to be more effective than moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT) in improving cardiorespiratory fitness within the cardiac population. Previously published systematic reviews in cardiovascular...
